Vivo X300 Ultra was launched in China on March 30. The camera flagship is coming to India on May 6, Vivo has announced. The smartphone will break cover alongside the Vivo X300 FE, which is coming in a green colour exclusively for the Indian market. Vivo’s Ultra phones were earlier exclusive to China, but that’s now changing. The X300 Ultra will be the brand’s first Ultra model to launch globally. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo’s own online store.
Vivo X300 Ultra specifications and features
One of the key highlights of the Vivo X300 Ultra is its external Zeiss telephoto lens system, which includes 200mm and 400mm options that can be attached via a dedicated extender kit. The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup co-engineered with Zeiss, headlined by a 200MP Sony LYT-901 primary sensor. It is paired with a 200MP ISOCELL HP0 periscope telephoto lens offering 85mm to 400mm zoom, along with a 50MP Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide camera. On the front, you get a 50MP camera.
Alongside that, you get a large 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
To keep the lights on, there’s also a big 7,000mAh battery on board, with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
As for the design, it sticks to Vivo’s familiar style, featuring a large circular camera module at the back and a flat-edged frame. Globally, the phone has been seen in green, silver, and black colourways.
Vivo had already showcased this setup at the recent MWC, where the phone, grip, and lens combination looked more like a compact camera system than a typical smartphone.
In China, the Vivo X300 Ultra is priced starting at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs 96,000). In India, however, it is expected to be priced well above the Rs 1 lakh mark.
