This is Nothing Phone 4a and it is launching on March 5

There is a new Nothing phone coming soon. Or rather, there is a new Nothing phone, Nothing Phone 4a, coming on March 5. And now ahead of the formal launch, the company has shown the phone on social media. The company has posted the full photo of the phone, revealing key details of the device.

While Nothing has shown one photo, that of the Nothing Phone 4a, it is expected that it will be launching two phones on March 5 in London. The other one is expected to be Nothing Phone 4a Pro.

From the image of the Nothing Phone 4a we can infer that it is going to have either a metal frame, or a frame with metallic finish. The rear design of the smartphone stays true to Nothing’s techno-industrial design, complete with etches and patterns.

We also see that the phone is equipped with a three-camera module that is housed inside a horizontal pill-shaped block. The LED flash is placed outside the camera module.

While Nothing has revealed the phone in White colour, the company earlier suggested that the Phone 4a would also come in Blue and Pink. The Nothing Phone 4a also sports a new mini-LED Glyph Bar. Recently, the company confirmed that its new Glyph Bar will contain nine mini-LEDs that can be individually controlled. These mini-LEDs will be 40 per cent brighter than the lights in the previous (a) series phones, according to the company.

Full details of the Nothing Phone 4a hardware and features will be revealed at the launch, but we do know a few bits. The Phone 4a, according to leaks, is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The Pro version, however, will likely use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Both phones are expected to feature 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays, though the Phone 4a Pro may come with smoother screen with 144Hz refresh rate compared to the 120Hz on the standard Phone 4a.

Both phones will also have three rear cameras, each. The Phone 4a Pro will potentially get an upgraded 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom. Both devices are also expected to carry an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

According to Dealabs, Nothing is expected to increase the price of the Phone 4a series compared to its predecessor. The standard Phone 4a may start at Euros 389 (approximately Rs 41,500) in Germany and Spain, while the Phone 4a Pro is tipped to debut at Euros 479 (around Rs 51,500). In India, though, the prices would be somewhat lower compared to the EU prices.
