MHT CET 2026: Registration deadline extended for LLB, BPEd, BEd-MEd; check new dates

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has extended the last date to submit online application forms for several MHT CET 2026 courses. Candidates applying for Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Bachelor of Law (LLB – 3 Year), and Bachelor of Education–Master of Education (BEd–MEd) three-year integrated course can now apply till March 3, 2026.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. The extension is applicable for admissions to the academic year 2026–27.

According to the official announcement, the decision has been taken by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell after considering requests from candidates who asked for more time to complete the registration process. The notice is a continuation of the earlier notification issued on February 10.

The CET Cell has also clearly stated that no further extension of the application deadline will be given.

MHT CET 2026: Courses with extended registration date

The registration deadline has been extended up to March 3, 2026 for the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)

  • Bachelor of Law (LLB – 3 Year)

  • Bachelor of Education–Master of Education (BEd–MEd) (Three-Year Integrated Course)

MHT CET 2026: Exam pattern details

The CET Cell has shared the exam structure for these courses:

The examination will be conducted in two stages:

  • Online Examination – A Computer-Based Test (CBT) with multiple-choice questions, conducted at designated exam centres

  • Field Assessment – An offline Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to assess candidates’ physical fitness

The examinations will be held in single-phase Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode

MHT CET 2026: Tentative exam dates

  • BPEd and LLB (3-Year): April 4, 2026 (CBT)

  • BEd–MEd: Exam date not confirmed yet

Other CET courses with extended deadlines

The CET Cell has also extended registration dates for some other courses:

  • MH Nursing CET 2026: Extended till March 16, 2026

  • MH DPN/PHN CET 2026: Extended till March 16, 2026

  • Tentative exam dates: May6 and May 7, 2026

Candidates are advised to carefully read the information brochure and regularly visit the official website for updates related to exam schedules and further instructions. Applicants should also note that this is the final extension, and forms must be submitted within the revised deadline.
