Madhya Pradesh to provide free coaching for SSC, civil services, banking

Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch “Mama Coaching Classes” on March 5, offering free preparation for competitive examinations to students in Madhya Pradesh.

The initiative will begin in Vidisha, Raisen and Bhairuunda, with a focus on providing quality academic support without financial burden.

The announcement has been made ahead of his birthday on March 5, which will be observed in Vidisha as Prem-Seva Sankalp Diwas.

Among the five pledges he plans to take, education and talent promotion form a central part. The launch of Mama Coaching Classes is being presented as a concrete step towards strengthening opportunities for young aspirants.

The coaching programme will provide structured and high-quality preparation for examinations such as banking, Staff Selection Commission, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Defence Research and Development Organisation and Forest Service.

The aim is to help students compete effectively in national and state-level recruitment exams.

FREE COACHING TO EXPAND ACCESS

The classes are expected to reduce the financial strain often associated with private coaching centres. By offering free access, the initiative seeks to support students from varied economic backgrounds who aspire to secure government and professional positions.

The focus will be on building conceptual clarity, exam strategy and consistent preparation.

By starting the programme in Vidisha, Raisen and Bhairuunda, the effort targets districts where many students prepare independently due to limited access to structured coaching facilities.

Education and talent promotion have been highlighted as key pillars of the broader pledges being taken on March 5. The coaching initiative is positioned as a long-term investment in youth development and employment readiness.

TALENT RECOGNITION INITIATIVE

Alongside the coaching launch, “Prem-Sundar Pratibha Samman” will be introduced in memory of his parents.

Under this scheme, Class 10 and 12 toppers across eight Vidisha Lok Sabha constituencies will receive Rs 51,000, Rs 31,000 and Rs 21,000. The top three at the Lok Sabha level will receive special prizes.

Other initiatives, including healthcare and social campaigns, will also be launched during the programme, though the primary focus remains on expanding educational support and recognising academic excellence.
