ICSE, ISC board results not to be declared today, confirms CISCE official

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has confirmed that the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results will not be announced today.

Officials stated that no official result date had been finalised yet and advised students to wait for a formal announcement.

The board added that the evaluation process is in its final stages, and results will be declared soon.

IS THE ICSE, ISC 2026 RESULT DATE CONFIRMED?

There is no confirmed date for the announcement of ICSE and ISC 2026 results so far. According to CISCE, the results are likely to be released soon, possibly towards the end of April or early May, as previously indicated.

Students should keep checking the official website, cisce.org, for authentic updates instead of trusting unverified social media posts.

WHEN WERE THE ICSE AND ISC 2026 EXAMS CONDUCTED?

The ICSE Class 10 exams were held from February 17 to March 30, 2026. Meanwhile, the ISC Class 12 examinations took place between February 12 and April 6, 2026.

This year, around 2.6 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exams, while approximately 1.5 lakh candidates took the ISC exams.

WHAT DOES PAST TRENDS SUGGEST ABOUT RESULT DATES?

In recent years, CISCE has typically declared results between late April and mid-May. In 2025, the results were announced on April 30, with pass percentages exceeding 99% for both ICSE and ISC. I

n 2024, the results were released on May 6, and in 2023, on May 15. Earlier, during the pandemic period, results were delayed significantly, with announcements stretching into July and even September in 2022.

Additionally, CISCE has introduced changes to its evaluation system in recent years.

The board has discontinued compartment exams and instead allows students to opt for re-evaluation and improvement exams in up to two subjects within the same academic year.
