Redmi has launched the Redmi K90 Max in China, expanding its K90 series lineup, which was originally introduced in October last year. The series already includes the Redmi K90 Pro Max and the standard Redmi K90, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The newly launched model, however, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, marking a notable shift within the lineup. The K90 Max comes in multiple colours and configurations.

On the camera front, the device sports a dual rear setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, along with an 8-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, it houses a 20-megapixel front camera.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It also includes a D2 graphics chip for improved gaming performance, along with an advanced cooling system featuring a 6,000 sq mm ice-sealed circulating pump and over 12,000 sq mm graphite area.

To keep the light on, the Redmi K90 Max packs a massive 8,550mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

The Redmi K90 Max runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3, and the device also comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
