Shagun Sharma On Working With Smriti Irani

Earlier, in an interview with India Forums, Shagun shared how she got along with Smriti Irani on the sets. She said, “She is very disciplined. I’m also quite disciplined, but yes, she is extremely disciplined. She’s very much the “kaam se kaam” kind of person when she’s on the floor. But as soon as the director says “cut,” you can go up to her, you can talk to her. And I actually do talk to her a lot. I ask her questions like, If this scene is like this, then why couldn’t it have been done differently?” or Why not this way? And she gives very genuine insights. There are certain things that, as a layperson, you just don’t know. I don’t know about many things, honestly. So when I hear her point of view, I realize, “Oh, okay, that makes sense now.”
