According to the official timetable, SSC exams will be conducted in a single shift from 10 am to 1:15 pm in offline mode. HSC exams will be held in the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6:15 pm. Each paper will have a duration of three hours.

Students are advised to reach their examination centres at least 30 to 60 minutes before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush.

Important instructions for students

Candidates should carefully check the subject name, exam date and timing mentioned on their admit cards before leaving home. Any confusion must be clarified in advance.

The GSEB admit card contains important details such as the student’s name, photograph, registration number, roll number, examination centre address and subject-wise schedule. It is compulsory to carry the original hall ticket on every exam day. Entry to the examination hall will not be allowed without the admit card.

GSEB SSC, HSC Exams 2026: Documents to carry

Students must carry their original GSEB admit card 2026 (signed and stamped, if required), valid school ID card, blue or black ballpoint pens (carry extra pens), transparent water bottle, clear or transparent stationery pouch, basic stationery items such as pencil, eraser and sharpener, if required.

Students have also been instructed to fill in details on the OMR sheet carefully. They should follow all instructions given by the invigilators inside the examination hall.

The board has advised students to stay calm, manage their time properly during the paper and maintain a positive approach throughout the examination period.
