Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continued its box office run on Day 39, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 1,777 crore and moving to within Rs 33 crore of Baahubali 2 (Rs 1,810 crore) in the list of the highest-grossing Indian films. The Aditya Dhar directorial, released on March 19 amid high expectations, has already become the first Hindi film to cross Rs 1,000 crore nett (gross minus taxes) in India.
Even with competition from Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla and the Hollywood release Michael, the film registered growth over its sixth weekend. According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 added Rs 3.40 crore on day 39, its sixth Sunday, after earning Rs 3 crore on Saturday, marking an increase of around 13 per cent across 2,988 shows.
The film’s sixth weekend collection now stands at Rs 6.40 crore, with day 37, the sixth Friday, bringing in Rs 1.55 crore.

Its India nett total has reached Rs 1,130.59 crore, while the gross domestic collection stands at Rs 1,353.27 crore. Overseas, the film added Rs 50 lakh, taking its international total to Rs 424.25 crore and its worldwide gross to Rs 1,777 crore.
Its weekly run has remained strong, with week one contributing Rs 674.17 crore, week two Rs 263.65 crore, week three Rs 110.60 crore, week four Rs 54.70 crore and week five Rs 19.25 crore. On Sunday, while Dhurandhar 2 held steady, Bhooth Bangla led the day’s numbers with over Rs 12 crore on its 10th day. Michael, a biopic on Michael Jackson, collected Rs 5.50 crore on day three.
The film has maintained its run well into its sixth weekend, building further on a strong opening and sustained collections through the first and second weeks.
