Samsung Galaxy S26 series launching today: How to watch live and what to expect

Samsung is gearing up for the first Galaxy Unpacked of 2026. The event takes place today, and we can expect to see the Korean giant launch its latest generation of flagships, the Galaxy S26 series.

The Galaxy S26 series is likely to come with some notable upgrades, but before we get into that, let’s have a look at how you can watch Galaxy Unpacked live today.

How to watch Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch?

The Galaxy Unpacked event will start at 10 am PT (11:30 pm IST) today, February 25, 2026. You can watch the event live on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channels. Samsung is hosting the event in San Francisco, USA.

What to expect from Galaxy S26 series?

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to consist of three devices – the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and the S26 Ultra. Samsung says it will showcase Galaxy AI features that make the day “easy and effortless,” as it focusses on more AI integration.

The Galaxy S26 series is rumoured to come with several hardware updates, including a new unified camera module for all three models, and slimmer bezels. The Galaxy S26 Ultra has allegedly been leaked online, which does show such a design change.

The new Samsung flagships are also expected to use the company’s new M14 AMOLED for improved visuals and efficiency. The top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra is also teased to come with an inbuilt privacy screen feature.

Performance upgrades are expected through a split-chipset strategy, with the S26 series powered by either the Exynos 2600 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, depending on the region.

Camera hardware across the range is anticipated to remain largely in line with previous models, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra retaining a 200-megapixel main camera and improved image processing for natural skin tones.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series expected price in India

Pricing details are yet to be confirmed, but initial indications suggest that costs may remain in line with the previous Galaxy S25 series. For context, the Galaxy S25 was launched in India at Rs 80,999, with the Galaxy S25 Plus starting at Rs 99,999. The top-of-the-line Galaxy S25 Ultra was priced at Rs 1,29,999.

What else can Samsung launch?

Apart from the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Buds 4 series, which will likely consist of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
