Dyson PencilWash wet and dry vacuum cleaner launched

Dyson has expanded its product lineup with the launch of new Dyson PencilWash vacuum cleaner. The company claims that it’s the slimmest and lightest wet and dry vacuum cleaner. The company claims that the vacuum cleaner is designed for effortless manoeuvrability and hygienic performance. The PencilWash weighs just 2. 2kg and features a 38mm pencil-thin handle for optimal comfort and easy storage.

Dyson PencilWash vacuum cleaner: Key features

  • Ultra-slim design: At only 38mm in diameter, the PencilWash is engineered to glide under low furniture, lying flat to just 15cm.

  • Lightweight performance: With 380g in-hand weight, it steers naturally with a simple twist, making cleaning less strenuous.

  • Filter-free system: Unlike conventional wet cleaners, it has no dirty filter — eliminating odours, sludge, and blockages.

  • High-density microfibre roller: Packed with 64,000 filaments per cm², it rapidly removes wet spills and stains while ensuring a quick-drying finish.

  • Fresh water cleaning: An 8-point hydration system ensures only clean water is used, maintaining hygiene with every rotation.

  • Customisable hydration modes: Adjustable water flow for light spills or stubborn stains, covering up to 100m of flooring with a 300mL tank.

John Churchill, Dyson’s chief technology officer, said: “We’re keen on making machines smaller and lighter while dramatically improving performance. PencilWash applies that thinking to wet cleaning: our slimmest, ultra-light format that glides effortlessly and reaches where others can’t. Using hydration, agitation and extraction, it delivers a hygienic clean with fresh water only, supported by our filter-free system.

The Dyson PencilWash is being introduced in select global markets starting 19 February 2026, with an India launch to be announced closer to availability.
