Xiaomi launches 75-inch 4K QLED TV at an affordable price in India

Xiaomi has expanded its premium television portfolio in India with the launch of the Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 75, a 75-inch 4K model priced at Rs 69,999. The move positions Xiaomi in the highly competitive large-screen segment, where rivals such as Sony and Samsung are selling comparable QLED models for more than Rs 1 lakh. In an interview, a company executive told India Today Tech that Xiaomi’s nationwide services and premium experience give it an advantage over brands like TCL, Vu, and Haier, which operate in the same sub-Rs 70,000 range. The launch comes four years after the company first entered India’s 75-inch TV segment. Here are all the details about the latest Smart TV from Xiaomi.

The X Pro 75-inch model offers a 4K Ultra HD display with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode, which the company claims will offer accurate colour reproduction and preserve the director’s intended frame rates and aspect ratios. The 10-bit panel claims coverage of 94 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. For gamers, the TV supports a simulated 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC motion-smoothing technology, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for responsive console gameplay.

Audio is handled by a 34W speaker system with Dolby Audio, DTS X, and DTS Virtual:X, which Xiaomi claims is tuned to deliver balanced sound suitable for medium and large living rooms. The television runs on Android 14-based Google TV with Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface, offering content aggregation across streaming platforms and access to over 200 live TV channels. Features like Hands-free Google Assistant, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Miracast are also supported.

Connectivity options include three HDMI ports (one with eARC), two USB-A ports, Ethernet, Optical, AV, antenna, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. The TV is powered by a Quad Core A55 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.

The newly launched 75-inch 4K QLED TV is priced at Rs 69,999, with an introductory discount of Rs 5,000 available for HDFC or ICICI credit card EMI purchases, bringing the effective price to Rs 64,999. Xiaomi is also offering a free four-year warranty worth Rs 10,999 for customers who pre-book between February 19 and 26, with redemption required before March 15. The device will be available starting February 27 via mi.com, Amazon India, and select offline stores.
