UPPSC LT Grade result 2025 declared for Science, Home Science, Commerce and Sanskrit posts; 6,772 candidates qualify for main exam

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj, has declared the preliminary examination results for the Assistant Teacher, Trained Graduate (Male/Female) Examination-2025 under Advertisement No. A-5/E-1/2025 dated July 28, 2025. The results have been announced for Science, Commerce, Sanskrit and Home Science subjects.

Separate press releases issued from the Office of the Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh, confirm that the examinations were conducted in December 2025 in multiple sessions. The result link is active on the official website http://uppsc.up.nic.in, and qualified candidates will be called for the main examination in due course.

The preliminary examination for the Science stream was held on December 7, 2025 in the first session. The recruitment covers 764 posts in the male branch and 573 posts in the female branch. It also includes 10 posts of Special Teacher for Sparsh Blind School/Integrated Special Secondary School, four posts for Signal Deaf and Dumb School/Integrated Special Secondary School and two posts for Prayas Physically Handicapped School/Integrated Special Secondary School under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

A total of 1,02,953 candidates registered for Science, of whom 49,538 appeared. Based on performance in the preliminary examination, 329 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination. The Commission stated that 15 times the number of vacancies could not be reached as several candidates failed to secure the minimum proficiency standard.

For Commerce, the preliminary examination was conducted on December 21, 2025 in the second session for 35 posts in the male stream and 23 posts in the female stream.

A total of 66,165 candidates registered, while 30,619 appeared. As many as 887 candidates have qualified for the main examination.

The Sanskrit examination was held on December 7, 2025 in the second session. The recruitment includes 90 posts in the male branch and 92 posts in the female branch, along with four posts of Special Teacher for Sparsh Blind School, one post for Signal Deaf and Dumb School and one post for Prayas Physically Handicapped School.

Out of 40,402 registered candidates, 26,273 appeared in the examination. A total of 2,772 candidates have been declared successful for the main stage. In certain categories, candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies were not available due to the minimum proficiency standard requirement.

The preliminary examination for Home Science was conducted on December 21, 2025 in the first session.

The recruitment includes 206 posts in the male branch and 163 posts in the female branch. Additionally, there are two posts of Special Teacher for Symptom Blind School/Integrated Special Secondary School and one post of Special Teacher for Signal Deaf and Dumb School/Integrated Special Secondary School under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

As per official data, 89,223 candidates registered for Home Science and 55,475 appeared.

A total of 2,784 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination. In certain categories, 15 times the number of vacancies could not be ensured owing to candidates not attaining the prescribed minimum proficiency marks.

The Commission has stated that a separate notification will be issued regarding the schedule of the main examination and the online application process for successful candidates. Details of marks and cut-off marks will be uploaded only after the declaration of the final selection result. No application will be entertained under the RTI Act, 2005.

The result of female candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh will remain subject to the final decision of the Hon’ble High Court in Special Appeal No. 475 (D)/2019 filed by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.
