The OnePlus 15 is set to launch as a major generational upgrade, featuring a massive 7,300mAh battery, a powerful new Snapdragon chipset, and a completely redesigned camera system. Scheduled to debut in China on October 27, the India launch is expected to follow shortly after.

Key Takeaways

A Powerhouse With Unmatched Battery Life

OnePlus confirms the OnePlus 15 will feature an immense 7,300mAh battery, a significant jump from the 6,000mAh unit in its predecessor. This promises excellent all-day stamina. The device supports 120W wired charging for rapid top-ups and 50W wireless charging.

Cutting-Edge Performance and Software

At its core is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, designed for ultra-high-frame-rate gaming. The phone will run Android 16, with the Indian variant confirmed to ship with OxygenOS 16.

Superior Visual Experience

The phone features a third-generation 1.5K BOE Flexible Oriental OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. OnePlus claims a 13% improvement in High Brightness Mode, an 11.8% enhancement in colour shift, a 30% increase in lifespan, and 10% lower power consumption.

Redesigned Camera System

The camera module gets a visual redesign into a square, triple-rear setup. It is tipped to include a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. With the Hasselblad partnership ended, OnePlus will debut its in-house DetailMax image engine.

OnePlus 15 Expected India Price

The OnePlus 15 is expected to be priced under ₹75,000 for the base variant. Higher storage models could cost more than ₹80,000, positioning it as a premium flagship contender.
