“Today, around 75,000 passengers have arrived at New Delhi Station together,” Vaishnaw told reporters. “The newly created Passenger Facilitation Centre, with multiple ticket counters and good ventilation, has made movement smooth and well-organised.”

Despite peak rush conditions, the Minister commended Indian Railways for meticulous preparations that handled massive crowds efficiently without major traveler inconvenience.

Special Arrangements for Festive Rush

Railway officials briefed Vaishnaw about special measures implemented for the 75,000+ passenger surge. These included expanded waiting areas and additional staff deployment.

The Minister appreciated the coordination among railway teams and urged them to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and punctuality throughout the festive period.
