User Complaints Flood Social Media
Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is filled with user reports highlighting multiple problems:
- Missing search bar functionality
- Absence of “Continue Watching” section
- Content not playing at all
- Constant buffering and app crashes
- Mobile and TV apps affected
One user reported: “The Jio Hotstar app is seriously not working right now. Constant buffering/crashing.” Another simply stated: “Jio Hotstar Not Working.”
Official Response from JioHotstar
In response to the widespread complaints, the company issued a statement: “Due to some unforeseen technical issue, some of our users may have issues while streaming content or accessing the platform. Appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue. We regret the inconvenience caused.”
The company has not provided an estimated timeline for when full service will be restored.
