GATE 2026 results likely on this date at GOAPS portal as IIT Guwahati prepares to release scorecards

The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) is expected to announce the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 soon. According to the official notification issued earlier, the institute has indicated that the results are likely to be declared on March 19, 2026.

Past release patterns show that GATE results are often published earlier than the date stated in the notification. In several previous years, the scorecards were made available weeks after the completion of the examination and shortly after the release of provisional answer keys.

Data from earlier examination cycles shows a consistent timeline between the last test date, provisional answer key publication, and the result announcement.

In 2025, the final examination was conducted on February 16, 2025. The provisional answer key was released on February 27, 2025, which was 11 days after the exam, while the results were declared on March 19, 2025, about 31 days after the examination.

A similar schedule was observed in 2024. The last examination took place on February 11, 2024, and the provisional answer key was issued on February 21, 2024, ten days later.

The results were declared on March 16, 2024, roughly 34 days after the exam.

In 2023, the final test date was February 12, 2023. The provisional answer key was released on February 21, 2023, nine days after the examination. The results were announced on March 16, 2023, which was about 32 days after the exam.
