IQOO 15R goes on sale, brings Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and 7,600mAh battery for Rs 44,999

iQOO 15R is now available in India. The phone was launched on February 24 and it is going on sale starting from today, March 3, across online and offline channels at a starting price of Rs 44,999. For less than Rs 45,000, iQOO is offering some high-end specs including a fast Qualcomm chip and big battery. There are other niceties too including a fast and smooth display and the latest Android software. The real USP though is the phone’s compact size. iQOO bills it as a powerful phone with perfect fit. In other words, it has flagship power, but it is also pocketable.

iQOO 15R full specifications and features

The iQOO 15R features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000nits of peak brightness. On the processor front, the iQOO 15R is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB storage.

In terms of photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700V main camera sensor with optically stabilised lens and another 8-megapixel ultra-wide. And on the front, the iQOO 15R carries a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

On the battery front, the device packs a 7,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Bypass charging option is also available.

The iQOO 15R runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 with iQOO committing to 4 years of major OS and 6 years of security updates.

The phone has a unique design with a distinctive chequered texture on the back. It is IP68 and IP69 certified. Colour choices include Triumph Silver and Dark Knight.

iQOO 15R price, offers and availability

The iQOO 15R comes in three configurations. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available in India at Rs 44,999. The other two variants of 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and 12GB RAM and 512GB storage are available at Rs 47,999 and Rs 52,999 respectively.

In terms of offers, the customers can get an instant discount of Rs 4,000 on HDFC and Axis Bank Credit, Debit and EMI transactions. The company is also offering iQOO/Vivo TWS earbuds worth Rs 1,899 bundled with the iQOO 15R.
iQOO 15R is available on Amazon, iQOO e-store, select Vivo exclusive stores, and Reliance Digital stores.
