Foxconn Partners with Nvidia to Develop AI Factory Infrastructure

Foxconn and Nvidia Partner to Build Next-Generation AI Factories

Taiwanese manufacturing leader Foxconn has announced a strategic partnership with US chip giant Nvidia to develop advanced AI factory infrastructure. The collaboration was revealed at the OCP Global Summit 2025 in San Jose, California.

Key Takeaways

  • Foxconn will implement Nvidia’s 800 VDC power architecture in its Kaohsiung K-1 AI data center
  • The system is designed specifically for high-density AI workloads and next-gen GPUs
  • Foxconn subsidiary Ingrasys showcased multiple Nvidia AI platforms at the summit

Advanced Power Infrastructure

Foxconn will deploy Nvidia’s 800 VDC data center power architecture for the first time in its K-1 AI data center project in Kaohsiung. This modular and scalable system significantly reduces power losses, minimizes conductor use, and improves energy conversion efficiency and safety.

The architecture will support next-generation Nvidia GPUs, creating a foundation for highly efficient AI servers and data centers with enhanced power resilience to meet growing computational demands.

Expanding AI Capabilities

Beyond power systems, Foxconn is enhancing its design capabilities in AI servers, power management, and cooling systems to deliver rapid solutions for AI data centers.

“Through continuous innovation in high-efficiency power and thermal design, Foxconn reinforces its leadership and highlights Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global AI supply chain,” the company stated.

Showcasing AI Platforms

At the same summit, Foxconn’s cloud solutions subsidiary Ingrasys Technology showcased several next-generation AI platforms, including the Nvidia GB300 NVL72, Nvidia HGX B300, and Nvidia MGX servers designed for enterprise AI applications.

These innovations demonstrate Foxconn’s strong capabilities in AI infrastructure development and system integration, positioning the company as a key player in the global AI ecosystem.
