After Nord 6, OnePlus to launch Nord CE 6 and CE 6 Lite in India, key specs revealed

OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord 6 on the 7th of this month. Now the company is expanding its Nord 6 lineup. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that it will introduce two more smartphones on May 7 — the OnePlus Nord CE6 and the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite. Both devices are expected to be more affordable than the Nord 6 and will be offered in multiple colour options. The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is returning after two years, succeeding the Nord CE4 Lite. They will be available for purchase via Amazon.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 specs and features

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 features a 6.78-inch display providing 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

On the performance front, the OnePlus Nord CE6 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with Touch Reflex technology for a smoother gaming experience. The device is claimed to deliver gameplay at up to 144 FPS, along with a highly responsive 3200Hz touch sampling rate. It also a large vapour chamber with a cooling area of over 33,000 mm helps manage heat efficiently.

To keep things running, the smartphone packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging. OnePlus claims that a single charge can last for over 2.5 days, and the battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its health even after six years of use.

To enhance durability, the OnePlus Nord CE6 offers robust water and dust resistance with multiple IP ratings, including IP66, IP68, and IP69, along with top-tier IP69K protection. The brand claimed that it has also undergone rigorous testing to meet MIL-STD-810H standards.

In terms of colour, the OnePlus Nord CE6 will be available in three distinctive options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite specs and features

The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite will be available in two colour options: black and light green. It features a pill-shaped vertical camera module with three camera cutouts. The company has confirmed that the device will be powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery and the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, along with a 144Hz display. It is claimed to deliver up to two days of battery life and maintain battery health for up to six years. More details regarding pricing, availability, and launch offers will be revealed at the official launch on May 7.
