UPSSSC Pharmacist recruitment 2026: Notification released for 560 posts; registration begins on this date

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the notification for Pharmacist recruitment 2026 on its official website upsssc. gov. in. Through this recruitment drive, the commission will fill a total of 560 Pharmacist posts under the Directorate of Medical and Health Services, Uttar Pradesh.

As per the official advertisement titled Pharmacist Chief (Pra0A0P-2025)/02, the online application process will begin on March 9, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications till March 29, 2026.

UPSSSC Pharmacist recruitment 2026: Vacancy details

Out of the total 560 posts, category-wise vacancies are as follows:

  • Unreserved: 224 posts

  • Scheduled Caste: 118 posts

  • Other Backward Classes: 151 posts

  • Economically Weaker Section: 56 posts

  • Scheduled Tribe: 11 posts

Important dates

  • Application start date: March 9, 2026

  • Last date to apply: March 29, 2026

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years of age

  • Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules

Salary details

Selected candidates will be appointed on Level-05 pay scale:

  • Minimum pay: ₹5,200

  • Maximum pay: ₹20,200

  • Grade Pay: ₹2,800

Application fee for all categories is ₹25.

Educational qualification and eligibility

To apply for the UP Pharmacist posts, candidates must:

  • Hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised university or institute

  • Be registered with the State Pharmacy Council of Uttar Pradesh

  • Have a valid Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 scorecard

Only candidates who qualify based on their PET 2025 score will be allowed to appear for the main written examination.

  9. Pay the application fee online
