MP Board Class 10, 12 results out: 78.14% pass in Class 10, over 76% in Class 12

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has declared the Class 10 and Class 12 results on April 15, bringing an end to the long wait for lakhs of students across the state. The results for both classes have been announced on the same day as scheduled.

Pratibha Singh Solanki from Panna has topped the MP Board 10th exam 2026.

The pass percentage for Class 10 is 78.14%, whereas in Class 12, 76.22% of students passed.

This year, more than 15 lakh students appeared for the MP Board examinations. Of these, approximately 907,000 students sat for Class 10 exams, while about 700,000 students appeared for Class 12.

The large number reflects the scale of the state board examinations, making it one of the biggest in the country.

Students can now access their marksheets through official websites as well as digital platforms like DigiLocker.

MP BOARD 2026 RE-EXAM AND SECOND CHANCE

A minimum of 33 per cent in each subject is required to pass the MP Board Exam 2026 for both the classes. Students who could not pass in one or two subjects do not need to panic.

  • MP Board has introduced a “Second Main Examination” instead of supplementary exams
  • Students can reappear in failed subjects or improve scores
  • These exams are treated at par with the main exam
  • Applications can be submitted after results

This system aims to reduce stress and give students a fair second opportunity.

This is not just limited to those who have failed some subjects but also those who have passed. Passed students can also give the second exam to improve their marks.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR STUDENTS?

With results now declared, students must begin planning their next academic steps carefully.

For Class 10 students, choosing the right stream is crucial:

  • Science is suitable for those interested in engineering, medicine, or research.
  • Commerce is ideal for careers in business, finance, and management.
  • Humanities offers diverse options in social sciences, law, and civil services.

Students should assess their interests, strengths, and long-term goals before making a decision.

For Class 12 students, the focus now shifts to higher education:

  • Apply to universities and colleges without delay
  • Keep documents like marksheets and certificates ready
  • Track admission deadlines for different institutions
  • Explore entrance exams, if required for specific courses

THE BIG PICTURE

The declaration of MP Board results marks an important milestone for students and their families. With over 16 lakh candidates participating, the results not only reflect individual performance but also set the stage for future academic and career choices.

Students are encouraged to stay calm, explore their options carefully and take informed decisions about their next steps.
