Dhurandhar: The Revenge is now in the final stretch of its box office run. The film has already achieved significant milestones for Indian cinema, especially for Bollywood, and has completed 30 days worldwide. However, its chances of dethroning Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the second highest-grossing Indian film globally now appear to be diminishing.
Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the spy thriller is currently in its fifth week and has dropped to single-digit daily earnings. On its fifth Monday, Dhurandhar 2 earned Rs 1.62 crore nett in India and Rs 0.40 crore overseas, taking its 33-day total to Rs 1,117.29 crore nett in India and Rs 1,758.96 crore gross worldwide.

- Friday: Rs 2.70 crore
- Saturday: Rs 4.65 crore

Released in 2017, Baahubali 2 remains a formidable benchmark with a lifetime worldwide gross of Rs 1,810.60 crore. Given the current trend and the absence of double-digit daily totals globally, Dhurandhar 2 reaching that figure now looks unlikely.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 has held its position as the second highest-grossing Indian film for nine years. The top spot continues to belong to Dangal, which amassed Rs 2,070 crore worldwide, boosted significantly by its performance in China.
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 is also facing fresh competition in theatres from Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar. Written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge also features Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun in key roles. The film hit theatres on March 19.
