Tecno has announced a new phone called the Camon 50 Ultra at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The latest addition to the Camon 50 serie features a triple rear camera setup and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. While the key specifications and features have been revealed, the price and availability are yet to be revealed.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra comes with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device also features ProXDR eye-care technology, designed to reduce eye strain during extended screen time.
Under the hood, the Camon 50 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and is supported by a massive 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
For photography, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra packs a triple rear camera system headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. Up front, it carries a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device is capable of recording videos at up to 4K/30 FPS.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra ships with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance along with a MIL-STD-810 certification. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The device features a Dolby Atmos-tuned speaker unit and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra also comes equipped with the Tecno AI suite, bundling powerful creative tools including AI LightMaster 2.0, 3D PhotoSpace, and AI Image-to-Video generation.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra will receive three major Android OS updates and five years of security patches. Additionally, buyers will get 50GB of Tecno cloud storage per year, free for the first three years, when the phone goes on sale.
