Stockholm Bus Crash Leaves Three Dead, Three Injured

A double-decker bus crashed into pedestrians at a bus stop in central Stockholm during Friday’s afternoon rush hour, killing three people and injuring three others.

The tragic accident occurred on November 14 on Valhallavägen near the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm’s Ostermalm district.

Police, emergency services, and ambulances rushed to the scene immediately after the crash. Authorities confirmed the casualty figures and arrested the bus driver.

Police Response and Investigation

Swedish police have opened a manslaughter investigation into the incident. Valhallavägen was closed between Odengatan and Engelbrektsgatan as emergency operations continued at the scene.

The double-decker bus reportedly crashed into a queue of people waiting at a bus stop during the busy Friday evening rush hour in the Swedish capital.
