Pakistan Revives Terror Camps in PoK, Masood Azhar’s Sister Recruits Women

Key Takeaways

  • Pakistan reviving terror infrastructure in PoK with Jaish-e-Mohammed reactivation
  • Masood Azhar’s sister leading female recruitment for suicide missions
  • Pakistani Army and ISI coordinating with multiple terror groups
  • New wave of attacks feared in Jammu and Kashmir

Pakistan is actively reviving its terror machinery in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, with intelligence reports confirming the reactivation of Jaish-e-Mohammed networks under handler Munir. The group is planning fresh attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, raising alarms about potential Pulwama-style strikes.

Coordination Between Army and Terror Groups

Recent meetings in Muzaffarabad and Bhimber brought together senior Pakistani Army officers, ISI officials, and commanders from Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen. The discussions focused on restarting terror training camps and facilitating cross-border infiltration into India.

Female Recruitment Drive Emerges

Intelligence agencies intercepted an Urdu invitation card for a recruitment meeting in Karachi scheduled for November 9. The card calls “all daughters of Islam” to participate and names “Masood” as chief guest, believed to be Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Masood Azhar.

Saeeda Azhar, Masood Azhar’s sister, has been tasked with training women for militant activities. The program aims to create a “female fidayeen force” targeting vulnerable women for extremist indoctrination and potential suicide missions.

Reactivated Camps and Border Deployment

Handler Munir has reportedly reactivated dormant camps across PoK while Pakistan’s Border Action Teams (BAT) have been redeployed to assist militant infiltration into India.

Security Concerns and Monitoring

Security experts confirm these developments demonstrate Pakistan’s continued support for cross-border terrorism despite previous counter-terror operations. New Delhi officials are closely monitoring the situation, concerned about a larger plot to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir in coming months.
