Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A7 Pro 4G and Redmi A7 4G in India, expanding its entry-level smartphone lineup. The launch comes just a week after the debut of the Redmi A7 Pro 5G. Both devices will be available in multiple colour options and are set to go on sale from April 23 via Amazon, Flipkart, and Xiaomi’s retail stores.

The Redmi A7 Pro 4G features a 6.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, while the Redmi A7 4G gets a slightly smaller 6.88-inch LCD panel with a 720 x 1,640 resolution. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 800 nits peak brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 8-bit colour depth. They also include a centred hole-punch cutout for the front camera.

On the camera front, both smartphones are equipped with a 13-megapixel rear sensor paired with an LED flash, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the two devices are powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC. The Pro variant comes with 4GB of RAM, while the standard model offers 3GB of RAM. Both handsets include 64GB of onboard storage and support expansion up to 2TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of battery, the Redmi A7 Pro 4G packs a 6,300mAh unit, whereas the Redmi A7 4G houses a slightly smaller battery. Both devices support 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.

On the software side, the Pro model runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and is promised four years of Android updates along with six years of security updates. Meanwhile, the standard variant ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2, with a two-year OS and three-year security update policy. Additional features include an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The Redmi A7 Pro 4G is priced at Rs. 11,499 for the sole 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage variant and is available in Black and Sky Sunset Orange colour options.

Meanwhile, the Redmi A7 4G is priced at Rs. 10,499 for the 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage model, and comes in Black and Sky Blue shades.

Both smartphones will go on sale starting April 23 via Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail stores across the country.
