Denny Hamlin’s disagreeable Michael Jordan comments have triggered NASCAR fans’ ire towards the FOX broadcaster

Many might believe that an iconic basketball player has no place in a car racing sport. The fact that Jordan is partnered with a NASCAR legend, Denny Hamlin, as co-owner of 23XI Racing compensates for his “lack” of knowledge. During an episode of Actions Detrimental, Denny Hamlin admitted to something he overheard at a meeting in Daytona.

“There was someone we had a meeting with in Daytona who said MJ does nothing for the sport. And it was a prominent figure in the sport. He also has a podcast,” said Denny Hamlin.

Travis, the host, expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s involvement in the many interviews he does throughout the race. He described it as powerful for the sport, which Hamlin agreed with.
