UCEED result 2026 to be released shortly at uceed.iitb.ac.in: Check steps to download scorecard

The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 result will be released today, March 6, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their results on the official website.

The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).

Students can view their results only through the official UCEED website www.uceed.iitb.ac.in by logging in with the user ID and password created during registration.

When and how to download the scorecard

All candidates who appeared for UCEED 2026 will be able to download their scorecards from March 10, 2026 to July 31, 2026 from the official website.

Candidates should note that only digital scorecards will be available.

Hard copies of the scorecard will not be sent by post or email.

The UCEED office will keep digital copies of the scorecards for up to five years from the date of issue.

Rank list and qualification

All shortlisted candidates will receive a Common Merit Rank or All India Rank. These candidates will be considered qualified in UCEED 2026.

However, getting a rank does not guarantee admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme.

The rank list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in Part-A and Part-B combined.

Tie-breaking rule for ranks

If two or more candidates get the same total marks, the following rules will be used to decide the rank:

  • The candidate with higher marks in Part-B will get a better rank.

  • If the tie still continues, the candidate with higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A will be ranked higher.

  • If the tie still remains, marks in Section 1 of Part-A will be considered.

  • If the tie is still not resolved, the candidates will be given the same rank.

Important note about Part-A responses

Candidates can download their Part-A response sheets only until the result is declared. After the result announcement, the download option will be disabled and no further requests will be accepted.
