JKSSB Health Department recruitment 2026: Apply online for 239 vacancies before March 25 at jkssb.nic.in

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is accepting online applications for 239 vacancies in the Health and Medical Education Department, with the submission window remaining open until March 25, 2026. Eligible candidates holding a valid domicile certificate and meeting the prescribed criteria can apply through the official portal within the notified timeline.

The recruitment process is being conducted under Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2026. The application window opened on February 24, 2026, and will close at 11:59 PM on March 25, 2026. The last date for online fee payment is also March 25, 2026, and applications without successful payment will be considered incomplete.

Candidates are required to apply only through the official JKSSB website. No offline or alternative modes of submission will be accepted. Applicants must first register by accessing the “Login (Apply on Various Posts)” section and create credentials using the “New User/Sign Up” option.

A valid email ID and mobile number are necessary for registration. The account is activated through OTP-based verification.

After successful registration, candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) form and proceed to the “Active Advertisement” tab to submit the application.

Applicants must fill in all details carefully and verify the information before final submission, as no changes will be allowed once the form is submitted.

Candidates are required to upload a live photograph and a clear signature in the prescribed size format.

Relevant category certificates, qualification documents and experience certificates, wherever applicable, must be uploaded in PDF format within the specified size limits.

The recruitment covers 19 separate item numbers across the 239 posts. Applicants must ensure that they meet the essential qualifications and experience requirements for the specific post. Any application where the eligibility conditions are not fulfilled will be rejected at the initial stage.

The application fee must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI using the “Pay Now” link available after form submission. Candidates should confirm that the payment status appears as “Submitted” on their dashboard.

No hard copy of the application form is required at the time of submission. Printed copies will be required only during document verification for shortlisted candidates. In-service candidates must submit the printed application through the proper channel.
