The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has declared the much-awaited Class 10 Matric Examination Result 2026, bringing relief and excitement to students across the state.
Students who appeared for the annual board examinations can now access their marks online and begin planning the next phase of their academic journey.
The results were formally announced during a press conference at 4 pm on May 2, 2026, where board officials also shared important statistics including the overall pass percentage, district-wise performance, and other examination highlights.
The online result link will be activated at 6 pm, allowing students to download their provisional marksheets.
MORE THAN 5.61 LAKH STUDENTS APPEARED
This year, a total of 5,61,979 students appeared for the Odisha Class 10 board examinations, which were conducted between February 19 and March 2, 2026, across 3,082 examination centres statewide. The exams were held in offline mode under strict supervision.
Board authorities stated that the evaluation process was completed smoothly and on schedule, enabling timely declaration of results in line with previous years.

To access the result, students need to enter their roll number and other required credentials on the result portal.

For students facing internet connectivity issues, the board has also provided the SMS facility. Candidates can check their result by typing:

The marksheets available online are provisional in nature and can be used for immediate admission or documentation purposes. Original certificates and final marksheets will be distributed later through respective schools.
School and college heads can also download the tabulation register from the official website after 7 PM.
WHAT NEXT FOR STUDENTS?
With the results now out, students can begin selecting streams and institutions for higher studies based on their performance. Those aiming for Science, Commerce, Arts, vocational courses, or diploma programmes can now proceed with admission planning.
Students who are dissatisfied with their marks need not worry, as the board is expected to open applications for re-evaluation and supplementary examinations shortly.

In 2025, the Odisha Class 10 board exams recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.69 percent, with more than 5.22 lakh students appearing across 3,133 centres.
