The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 today, bringing relief and excitement to over 18 lakh students across Maharashtra.
Candidates who appeared for the Class 12 board examinations can now access their scores online through official websites and DigiLocker.
The result was announced following a press conference held at the board’s Pune office, where key details such as overall pass percentage, stream-wise performance, district statistics, and other examination highlights were shared.
RESULT AVAILABLE ON MULTIPLE PLATFORMS
Students can now check and download their provisional marksheets through the following official websites:
- mahresult.nic.in
- mahahsscboard.in
- hscresult.mkcl.org
Digital marksheets have also been made available through DigiLocker for easier and faster access.
HOW TO CHECK MAHARASHTRA HSC RESULT 2026 ONLINE
Students can follow these steps to view their results:
- Visit any official result portal.
- Click on the Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 link.
- Enter your seat number.
- Enter your mother’s first name as mentioned on the hall ticket.
- Submit the details.
- Download and save the provisional marksheet.
HOW TO ACCESS RESULT VIA DIGILOCKER
Students can also retrieve their marksheets digitally by following these steps:
- Visit results.digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app.
- Log in using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Open the Education section.
- Select Maharashtra HSC Result 2026.
- Download the marksheet from the Issued Documents folder.
The Maharashtra HSC board examinations for 2026 were conducted from February 10 to March 11, 2026 at centres across the state.
PASSING CRITERIA AND GRADING SYSTEM
Students are required to secure at least 35 per cent marks to pass the HSC examination.
The grading system is as follows:
- 75% and above – Distinction
- 60% to 74% – First Division
- 35% and above – Pass
In the previous year, the overall Maharashtra HSC pass percentage stood at 91.88 per cent. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.54 per cent, while boys recorded 89.51 per cent.
The board has also released this year’s detailed performance statistics along with the 2026 results.
REVALUATION AND VERIFICATION WINDOW OPENS SOON
Students who wish to apply for verification of marks, photocopies of answer sheets, or re-evaluation can submit applications online from May 3 to May 17, 2026.
For re-evaluation, students must first obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet and then apply within five working days of receiving it.
With the Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 now declared, lakhs of students can take the next step toward college admissions and future career plans.
Candidates are advised to download their provisional marksheets immediately and later collect official documents from their institutions.
