IIT JAM 2026 answer key released at jam2026.iitb.ac.in: Raise objections by February 27; direct link here

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the Joint Admission Test for MSc (IIT JAM) 2026 provisional answer key along with the response sheet. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download the answer key from the official website at jam2026. iitb. ac. in.

To access the IIT JAM 2026 answer key and response sheet, candidates need to log in using their enrolment ID or email ID and password. Along with checking their answers, candidates can also use the provisional answer key to calculate their probable scores.

Objection window open till February 27

Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer in the provisional answer key can raise objections through the JOAPS portal. The objection facility will remain open till February 27, 2026. The JOAPS portal can be accessed through the official IIT JAM 2026 website.

After reviewing all objections submitted by candidates, the final answer key will be prepared.

IIT JAM 2026 result date

As per the official schedule, IIT Bombay will declare the IIT JAM 2026 results on March 20, 2026. The scorecards will be available for download from March 27, 2026.

The computer-based IIT JAM 2026 examination was conducted on February 15 for admission to Master of Science (MSc) programmes offered by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other participating institutes across India.

How to download IIT JAM 2026 answer key and response sheet

Candidates can follow the steps given below:

  1. Visit the official website at jam2026. iitb. ac. in

  2. Click on the JOAPS portal link available on the top right of the homepage

  3. A new login page will open

  4. Enter your enrolment ID or email ID and password

  5. Click on the submit button

  6. The IIT JAM 2026 answer key and response sheet will appear on the screen

  7. Download the answer key and check your responses
