GPSC Recruitment 2026 for Executive & Assistant Engineering posts begins at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in; apply here

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has put out a notification for online applications for various Class-1 and Class-2 Engineering vacancies in the Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB). This recruitment exercise, advertised as Nos. 134/2025-26 to 139/2025-26, includes posts for Executive Engineers, Deputy Executive Engineers, and Assistant Engineers in the Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical branches.

The online application window will be open from 18 February 2026, 1:00 PM until 05 March 2026, 11:59 PM. The candidates have to submit the applications only via the authentic OJAS portal which could also be reached through the GPSC website

Applicants should possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the respective field of Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering from a recognized university.

• Executive Engineer (Class-1): Experience in the respective field is normally required.

• Deputy Executive Engineer (Class, 2): Experience may be required as per government rules.

• Assistant Engineer (Class, 2): Suitable for freshers or those with little experience. The age limit will be determined as of the last date of submission of the application. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories can avail age relaxation as per government rules.

The recruiting method shall comprise of the following:

• Preliminary Examination: A written test on General Studies and the concerned subject.

• Interview: Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary test would be invited for the interview.

The application payment for the candidates belonging to the General category is Rs 100, plus postal charges (approx.). Generally, reserved categories, EWS, and Ex, Servicemen are exempted. However, it is always better to check the details in the complete notification.

Applicants must submit their application online through the OJAS portal by selecting the relevant advertisement number and completing the One Time Registration (OTR) procedure.
