Rajpal Yadav shares emotional hug with niece during vidai; viral wedding videos surface

Actor Rajpal Yadav was recently granted interim bail to attend a family wedding, allowing him to travel to Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh ahead of his next court hearing on March 18. Amid this brief relief, emotional moments from the celebrations have gone viral online. After a clip of him dancing joyfully surfaced earlier, a new video now shows the actor overcome with emotion during his niece’s vidai.

Emotional farewell at niece’s vidai

In the viral video, Rajpal Yadav is seen hugging his niece tightly as she prepares to leave after the wedding rituals. His face reflects visible anguish as he struggles to hold back tears. Family members surround him, offering comfort as he bids her goodbye. The clip was first circulated by media outlets before quickly spreading across social platforms.

From joyous dance to heartbreak

Just days earlier, another video captured a very different mood. Rajpal appeared carefree, dancing enthusiastically at the mehendi ceremony. Dressed in traditional attire, he performed to the popular song “Teri Chunnariya Dil Le Gayi,” joined by relatives and his wife.

Long-running legal battle

The legal battle stems from a loan of Rs 5 crore taken years ago to finance his directorial project, which failed commercially. Over time, interest reportedly increased the liability to nearly Rs 9 crore. Several repayment commitments were allegedly missed, and cheques issued toward settlement bounced, escalating the matter. Earlier this month, the court ordered him to surrender due to repeated non-compliance. He was later granted temporary bail after depositing Rs 1. 5 crore, allowing him to attend the wedding before returning for further proceedings.

Speaking about his financial situation, Rajpal admitted, “Sir, kya karoon? Mere paas paise nahin hain.

Aur koi upaay nahin dikhta (Sir, what to do? I don’t have the money to pay back. Can’t see another way out). ”

Reflections after time in custody

Following his release, Rajpal also spoke about prison life. He urged authorities to make jails more humane and suggested improvements, including “designated smoking areas inside jails, similar to facilities at railway stations and airports. ” He added that prisons should focus on reform as much as punishment, noting, “It is often difficult to judge from the outside who is a hardened criminal and who made a one-time mistake. ”

He also emphasized his compliance with court proceedings, stating, “Yeh 2012 mei shuru hua, aj 2026 hai. Pichle 10 saal mei High Court ne jahan jahan aadesh diye hai, main hazir mila hu aur aage bhi jahan aadesh milega, main hazir milunga. Mujhe jis tarah se pure desh, duniya aur Bollywood ne pyaar diya, agar mujhpe koi aarop hai, toh main 100 per cent available hu. Thank you High Court, aapne mujhe sunne ka mauka diya.”
