Shriram Finance revises fixed deposit interest rates from 6 May — Check details here

Shriram Finance has revised interest rates for its fixed deposits, across various tenors, effective from 6 May 2026, the company said in a release today. This comes after the ratings for the Shriram Group flagship company’s bank loan facilities, non-convertible debentures (NCDs), subordinate debt and FD programmes were upgraded.

Rating agencies CARE Ratings, CRISIL Ratings, ICRA and India Ratings & Research recently upgraded the company’s long term credit rating to AAA (Stable) — the highest category from each, as per the statement.

  • The Fixed Deposits are rated “CRISIL AAA/Stable” by CRISIL Ratings,
  • “[ICRA]AAA (Stable)” by ICRA,
  • “IND AAA/Stable” by India Ratings and Research, and
  • “CARE AAA/Stable” by CARE Ratings.

Revised interest rates for FDs up to 10 crore

Additional benefits will continue to apply as follows:

  • Senior citizens (aged 60 years or above at the time of deposit/renewal) are eligible for an additional interest of 0.50% p.a.
  • Women depositors will receive an additional 0.05% p.a.
  • Renewals of matured deposits will attract an additional 0.15% p.a.
  • Deposits will be accepted in multiples of 1,000, subject to a minimum amount of 5,000.

Additional benefits will continue to apply as follows:

  • Women depositors will receive an additional 0.05% p.a.
  • Other terms and conditions of the Fixed Investment Plan (FIP) shall remain unchanged.
  • FIP instalment will be accepted in multiples of 500 subject to a minimum amount of 1,000.
