Jeep India reintroduces Wrangler Willys 41, limited to 41 units

Jeep India has brought back the Wrangler Willys 41 Limited Edition, paying homage to the legendary 1941 Willys MB that laid the foundation of the brand’s global identity. The special edition returns after the previous Willys ’41 Special Edition sold out nationwide within seven days in 2025, underlining strong demand among enthusiasts.

This India-exclusive edition is strictly limited to just 41 units, making it one of the rarest Wrangler versions ever offered in the country. Based on the Rubicon variant, the Willys 41 edition blends heritage-inspired styling cues with modern equipment aimed at serious off-roaders.

A tribute to the 1941 Willys MB

The Willys 41 edition draws direct inspiration from the original Willys MB, the combat-tested 4×4 that became a symbol of durability and go-anywhere capability. The new model features WWII-themed Willys graphics and exclusive “One of 41” collector’s badging, reinforcing its limited-run status and historic significance.

Jeep says the edition is designed as a modern expression of the rugged, purposeful spirit that defined the original military vehicle, while incorporating contemporary engineering and premium enhancements for today’s buyers.

Added features and optional adventure kit

Beyond cosmetic enhancements, the Wrangler Willys 41 comes equipped with additional features aimed at real-world usability. These include motorized side steps and an integrated digital video recorder (dash cam), among other premium accessories.

Buyers can also opt for a secondary kit that includes a roof carrier with an integrated side ladder and a Sunrider rooftop. The optional package is intended to enhance both practicality and open-air driving appeal, further strengthening the Wrangler’s adventure-focused positioning.

Powertrain option

The Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition continues with the same mechanical configuration, powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 270hp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is supported by a full-time 4×4 system.

Pricing and availability

The Wrangler Willys 41 2.0 is offered on the Rubicon variant at a premium of Rs 2,00,000 over the standard model. The optional accessory kit, exclusive to this edition, is priced at Rs 3,60,000. The standard Rubicon costs Rs 68.31 lakh (ex-showroom).

With only 41 units allocated across India and bookings open for a limited period, the Willys 41 is positioned as a collector-focused offering that blends heritage, exclusivity and off-road capability in equal measure.
