RJ Balaji shares Rajinikanth’s dedication and work ethic, ‘Karuppu’ starrer encourages youth to work hard

RJ Balaji, the director of the film ‘Karuppu’, featuring Suriya, is actively overseeing the process. Alongside managing the film’s progress, he has started attending college events as a special guest to interact with young audiences. In his recent appearances, he spoke about the film and its release plans, revealing that ‘Karuppu’ will only hit theaters after the ongoing elections are over.

Reflections on young talent

During one such college event, RJ Balaji shared his observations about working with young talent. As per Nakkheeran, he mentioned that his team includes assistant directors and writers as young as 22 or 23. Some of them directed parts of the film within just three or four months. He added that when asked about the experience, they admitted it was extremely stressful. Balaji compared this with his own 14-year-old son, noting that even his son noticed the same kind of stress in creative work.

Meeting Rajinikanth and learning dedication

RJ Balaji said that he, too, had a lucky supernatural experience that affected him greatly. He narrated that he met Rajinikanth two to three months prior to the shooting of the film and informed us that everyone knows the wonder that Rajinikanth is. RJ Balaji detailed that Rajinikanth spoke about his five-year plan during their meeting. RJ Balaji found this inspiring because even at 75, Rajinikanth works like a man with a 50-year plan.

Lessons for the young generation from Rajinikanth

RJ Balaji urged the younger generation to take inspiration from Rajinikanth’s work ethic. He said that stress is no excuse to achieve something and that we exaggerate the difficulty of things today. If Rajinikanth can be committed and motivated at 75, so can others who have a dream. He urged students to take inspiration from the superstar’s commitment, apply it to their creative fields and work, and show the world that with commitment and dedication, they too can achieve success.
