BAFTA 2026: Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner serve high-fashion couple goals

If there was one subplot stealing glances at the BAFTA Awards, it wasn’t just about trophies. Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner transformed the red carpet at London’s Royal Festival Hall into what felt like a very glamorous date night.

Arriving hand in hand, the pair coordinated in head-to-toe black — sleek, polished and unmistakably in sync. Cameras followed their every step, and within minutes, social media had declared them the evening’s best-dressed duo. Awards season may be competitive, but their chemistry looked effortless.

What did they wear?

Chalamet opted for a sharp all-black ensemble, keeping things minimal and tailored. Jenner, meanwhile, leaned into high drama with a bedazzled black gown that caught the light — and plenty of attention.
Take a look at their outfits:

The coordinated palette wasn’t accidental. It reinforced their growing reputation as a fashion-forward couple who understand the assignment: When in doubt, go monochrome and let the silhouettes speak.

Were they supporting a nomination?

Yes — and it was a big one. Chalamet attended as a nominee for his role in Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie. The sports drama entered the night with 11 nominations, including Best Film and Leading Actor.

Expectations were high, especially after Chalamet’s recent Golden Globes win for the same role.

Did Marty Supreme win anything?

Surprisingly, no. Despite its strong showing in nominations, the film was left empty-handed. Chalamet also missed out on Best Leading Actor, which went to Robert Aramayo for his performance in I Swear.

It was one of the evening’s quieter shocks, shifting attention firmly towards the upcoming Oscars, where Marty Supreme remains a serious contender.

What does this mean for awards season?

While BAFTA didn’t deliver the wins many anticipated, the film’s multiple nominations keep it firmly in the conversation. And if nothing else, Chalamet and Jenner proved they can dominate headlines — statue or not.

Because sometimes, the real power move isn’t winning. It’s arriving like you already have.
