Pascal Wehrlein has plenty to celebrate this month. After winning Round 4 in Jeddah, the Porsche driver marked a special personal milestone, his daughter’s third birthday. The little one has occasionally joined him on the podium wearing noise-canceling headphones and was last seen lifting his trophy alongside him in Miami. As she turned three, not only her father but his fans and colleagues also sent their wishes on social media. Wehrlein shared a heartwarming video to celebrate the occasion, along with a touching message.
Pascal Wehrlein marks daughter’s third birthday with sweet video
Pascal Wehrlein took to Instagram to post a beautiful video of his daughter, Soleya. She was seen joining him on the podium at the Miami E-Prix, where he finished third.
He wrote on the video: “The richest I have ever been,” and added in the caption: “Happy 3rd birthday, mein Herz – Baba loves you more than words can ever say.”
Oliver Rowland commented, “Happy Birthday Soleya!” while Porsche Motorsport shared the same message.
One fan wrote, “I love the way that you love your daughter. HBD to her.” Another commented, “Happy Birthday to the sweetest, smiling baby.” A third added, “Awwww she’s so sweet. Happy birthday, Soleya.”
Pascal Wehrlein happy to bounce back with Jeddah victory
Pascal Wehrlein is currently leading the Formula E World Championship with 68 points. He has one win and another podium finish so far this season.
Speaking about his first win of the season in Jeddah, he said in a statement: “It was a super, nicely executed race. I waited a bit with the Pit Boost but also with the Attack Mode, and I think that was the right strategy. We went into the Attack Mode and after the Pit Boost I just tried to extend the lead so that no one was in my slipstream anymore. We managed to do that and in the end I could manage the pace. It was a very enjoyable race and I also had good fights, some pretty tough ones, especially at the start, but we got through it.
Being at the top of the championship is not too relevant right now. Obviously, I wanted that win really badly, it’s been a while, and it’s great to bounce back like that. ”
Wehrlein will return to action at the Madrid E-Prix on March 21. It remains to be seen whether the Porsche driver can maintain his championship lead and challenge for the title this year.
