Texas Football Coach Arrested for Filming Children in Shower
A Texas middle school football coach and teacher faces serious federal charges after being accused of filming children under showers and producing pornographic content. Caleb Elliott, 26, has been terminated from his position at Celina ISD’s Moore Middle School following his arrest on eight counts of child exploitation.
Key Details of the Case
- Caleb Elliott worked as sixth-grade social studies teacher and football coach
- Faces eight federal counts of child exploitation and pornography production
- Accused of filming boys in locker room showers
- Terminated from Celina Independent School District after arrest
Lawsuit and Legal Proceedings
Attorney Paul Herz represents approximately a dozen families in a $1 million lawsuit against Celina ISD. The legal action has grown significantly since initially being filed for three families.
Herz stated:
“Our lawsuit was filed very shortly after Caleb Elliot was arrested on behalf of three families that had been victimized by his locker room recording of their young boys, since then, that lawsuit has grown to about a dozen families. We’ve learned a lot just in the short time the lawsuit has been around, that this involves boys of varying ages, as young as 12 and as old as 15.”
The attorney emphasized that the families’ primary goal is truth-finding rather than financial compensation:
“We hope to really accomplish a lot in uncovering the truth for these families, and that’s what they’ve told me is my prime directive, not to recover money, not to get them big settlement checks, but to fact find.”
Disturbing Allegations
Court documents reveal shocking details, including one instance where Elliott allegedly forced a student to perform jumping jacks fully nude as punishment to retrieve his confiscated backpack. The lawsuit describes this as part of a pattern of coercive behavior toward minors.
Elliott faces both the federal criminal charges and civil litigation from multiple affected families seeking accountability from the school district.
