The Union Home Ministry has already handed over the case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which has made multiple arrests and seized raw materials used for manufacturing explosives. Searches are ongoing across India in connection with the blast.

Condemnation and Support

The Cabinet paid tribute to victims of what it called a “senseless act of violence” and conveyed heartfelt condolences to bereaved families. Medical personnel and emergency responders were praised for their prompt efforts in providing care to the injured.

“The Cabinet unequivocally condemns this dastardly and cowardly act that has led to the loss of innocent lives,” the resolution stated.

The government reiterated India’s unwavering commitment to a policy of zero tolerance toward terrorism in all its forms, with the situation being closely monitored at the highest levels.
