Delhi Airport Operations Return to Normal After Technical Glitch

Delhi Airport has confirmed that all flight operations are now running normally following yesterday’s technical disruption that affected over 800 flights. The airport issued a fresh advisory reassuring passengers about the restored services.

In an official social media post, Delhi Airport stated: “All flight operations are normal at Delhi Airport. Wishing all passengers a smooth and pleasant journey ahead!” The airport emphasized that travelers should stay in touch with their respective airlines for the most current information on schedule changes.

IndiGo’s Response and Recovery Efforts

IndiGo Airlines, India’s largest carrier, announced adjustments to some flight schedules as systems were being restored. The airline confirmed it was working closely with airport operator and Air Traffic Control (ATC) teams to resume full operations.

In a statement on X, IndiGo explained: “Airport operator and ATC teams are working on a priority to fully restore systems and stabilise operations. The situation is likely to be normalised over the next few hours. During this period, some departure and arrival timings may continue to be adjusted.”

The airline added that its ground teams were “actively assisting customers with updated schedules, onward connections, and real-time information to help make any unavoidable wait more manageable.”
