Amazon Layoffs: Entire Teams Reportedly Let Go ‘Within Seconds’

Amazon has reportedly initiated a significant round of layoffs, with claims emerging that entire teams, including managers, were terminated abruptly. According to social media reports, testing teams for Q3 and Q4 were among the first to be affected.

“My friend from Amazon told me how she saw an entire team, including the manager, being laid off right in front of her eyes within seconds. The way they had to leave the office was heartbreaking.”

The user, Prapti, further stated that Amazon collected the laptops from the affected team immediately. While these specific accounts are from social media, broader reports confirm Amazon’s plan to cut approximately 14,000 roles.
