Mappls Integration Coming to Zoho’s Arattai Messaging App
MapmyIndia Director Rohan Verma has confirmed plans to integrate the Mappls navigation platform with Zoho’s Arattai messaging app, responding to user suggestions for collaboration between the two Indian-made applications.
Enhanced Location Sharing Capabilities
Verma explained that the integration would enable users to share precise location details with exceptional accuracy. “For users, this would mean super easy and precise sharing of a location’s exact doorstep and address details, unlike other apps or maps where the location pin often ends up on a back road, the other side of the road, or lacks detailed address information,” he stated.
Open Integration for All Developers
While expressing particular enthusiasm for Arattai integration, Verma clarified that any application developer can implement similar functionality by utilizing the Mappls API and SDKs. The MapmyIndia Director noted it would be “extra special to have Arattai embed it” given both platforms’ Indian origins.
