Dulquer Salmaan produced and Dominic Arun directed Lokah: Chapter 1- Chandra starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen just completed its sixth week at the box office. The film in its entire run till now has set new box office records for Malayalam cinema. It has become the first Mollywood film to cross Rs 300 crore mark globally, it has also become the highest grossing female led film from South India and second highest grossing female led film of India.

The film in its sixth week fell just short of Rs 3 crore mark as it collected Rs 2.97 crore across Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 154. 7 crore ( Rs 181. 15 crore gross).

The journey for the film is far from over as Dulquer recently took to Twitter to share, “Lokah enters its 7th week. Thank you all” . The makers shared a teaser announcing the sequel where both the stars are seen sitting on the floor and having a chat. Reports have suggested that Dulquer will lead the 3rd part while fourth part with feature Mammootty and fifth part will have all 4 together.
