It was a night packed with nostalgia, laughter and wild prints as the much-loved annual 1980s stars’ reunion made a sweet comeback this year with an animal print theme for the gathering. After a three-year break, the biggest stars from the golden era of Indian cinema came together, and the Internet is buzzing over the viral glimpses from their reunion.

The attendees of the reunion this year included Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Jackie Shroff, Prabhu, Naresh, Suresh, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Shobana, Khushboo, Meena Sagar, Radha, Jayasudha, Suhasini, Nadhiya and others.

Chiranjeevi’s Heartfelt Post After Reunion

Megastar Chiranjeevi took to Instagram on Sunday to share a bunch of photos from the fun-filled get-together. The pictures featured some of the most iconic names, all dressed in coordinated animal print outfits. And honestly, the 80s glam never looked this good.

Sharing the pictures, Chiranjeevi wrote, “Every reunion with my beloved friends from the 80s is a walk down memory lane, filled with laughter, warmth, and the same unbreakable bond we’ve shared for decades. So many beautiful memories, and yet every meet feels as fresh as the first!”

Interestingly, this annual reunion of the iconic stars has been a tradition for over a decade, bringing together actors who ruled the screens during the 1980s. It is an evening where old friends, who once shared sets and scripts, now share stories, laughter and an unshakable bond. The gathering, hosted this time at actor-director Rajkumar Sethupathy and Sripriya’s residence in Chennai, was curated by Lissy Lakshmi, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Khushbu Sundar, and Suhasini Mani Ratnam.

The Last Reunion

Before this, the last reunion in 2022 was hosted by Jackie Shroff in Mumbai. That year’s guest list included the icons like Chiranjeevi, Khushboo, Venkatesh Daggubati, Shobana, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Revathy, Tina Ambani, Madhoo Shah, Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Anil Kapoor, and Raj Babbar, along with other South Indian film stars such as Ramya Krishnan, Rajkumar Sethupathi, Sarathkumar, Bhanu Chander, Lissy, Poornima, Suhasini Maniratnam, Radha Nair, Saritha, Sumalatha, Ambika and Nadhiya.
