On its first Sunday, Bhooth Bangla collected Rs 23 crore nett in India, contributing to a total domestic collection of Rs 58 crore nett. The film’s worldwide gross stands at an impressive Rs 95.87 crore, showcasing its strong international performance.
The success of Bhooth Bangla underscores the enduring popularity of the horror-comedy genre and Akshay Kumar’s star power. The film’s box office journey began with Rs 3.75 crore on Thursday, followed by Rs 12.25 crore on Friday, Rs 19 crore on Saturday, and Rs 23 crore on Sunday.

The momentum of the horror-comedy on Sunday was evident from the theatre occupancy rates across the country. Starting with a morning occupancy of 21.92 per cent, the numbers surged to 52.16 per cent in the afternoon and further climbed to 60.42 per cent by the evening.
As Bhooth Bangla enters its first Monday, all eyes are on how it will perform in the coming days and whether it can maintain its strong weekend pull. The film features an ensemble cast, including the late Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi, among others.
