OnePlus announces Nord Buds 4 Pro with flagship specs and affordable price, India launch on March 19

After a bit of a lull period, OnePlus is ready to launch its next product, the Nord Buds 4 Pro, in India. The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro wireless earphones will be officially launched in India on March 19. Given the Nord branding, we can expect affordable pricing, something that OnePlus is making clear in today’s announcement.

The Nord Buds 4 Pro will provide “true flagship level performance at an affordable price,” OnePlus said in a statement shared with the media, adding that these wireless earphones are “designed to provide powerful noise cancellation while at the same time providing the super deep bass OnePlus Nord Buds users have come to expect.”

As is usually the case with these announcements, OnePlus has unveiled the full design as well as a few key specs to build hype around the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro. Specifically on the sound bit, OnePlus says the Nord Buds 4 Pro have 12mm titanium coated drivers that are 100 percent more powerful than the drivers inside the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro are confirmed to support the LHDC 5.0 codec as well as spatial audio. As far as active noise cancellation goes, OnePlus says the Nord Buds 4 Pro can block out up to 55 decibels of noise. They are also certified by TV Rheinland. Moreover, each earbud has three microphones for “crystal clear calls even in tricky conditions,” according to OnePlus. The company says it has also added volume sliders t these earbuds after user feedback.

Design-wise, OnePlus says the new earphones are more compact than before. The case is said to be 10 percent smaller while each earbud weighs just 4.4 grams. Despite shrinking the overall footprint, OnePlus says the Nord Buds 4 Pro have “impressive battery life” without quoting any numbers. The earphones will be available in a choice of Radiant Gray and Raven Black.

Pricing and availability details will be announced on March 19. They will be available online via Amazon, Flipkart, and OnePlus website. For reference, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro are currently listed for Rs 10,999 on the OnePlus India website.

Interestingly, the launch of the Nord Buds 4 Pro is scheduled in the same month OnePlus is launching the 15T in China. The phone is a sequel to the OnePlus 13T which was launched in India under the name of OnePlus 13s. There is no clarity on if and when OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 15T in India at this point in time.
