The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Foundation examinations. Candidates who appeared for the January 2026 session can now check their results on the official website, ICAI.
The ICAI also announced that Kanhaiyalal secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the CA Intermediate exam, while Logapriya P P topped the CA Foundation examination in the January 2026 session.
Students can access their scorecards by visiting icai.nic.in. The institute had earlier released the results of the CA Final examination.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has also released the group-wise statistics for the CA Intermediate January 2026 examination. In Group I, a total of 105,526 candidates appeared, out of which 14,733 passed, taking the pass percentage to 13.96%. In Group II, 69,477 candidates appeared and 10,798 cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 15.54%, the highest among the categories.
Meanwhile, among candidates who appeared for both groups together, 41,798 candidates took the exam and 3,924 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 9.39%, the lowest among the three categories.
The institute has also shared the gender-wise statistics for the CA Foundation examination. Among male candidates, 57,238 appeared for the exam and 11,523 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 20.13%.
Among female candidates, 52,456 candidates appeared and 9,576 cleared the exam, taking the pass percentage to 18.26%.
The results relate to the CA Intermediate and CA Foundation exams conducted in January 2026.

- Enter registration number and roll number
- Submit the details to view the result
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference
ICAI has stated that candidates must enter both the registration number and roll number correctly to access their result on the portal.
PASS PERCENTAGE AND MERIT LIST
The institute is also expected to release detailed pass percentages and the merit list of top rank holders along with the result announcement.
Students who appeared in the exam should regularly check the official website for updates regarding toppers, pass percentage and additional result data.
